On November 10 – 11, «the Human capital-basis of renovation» forum was held at the Palace of Independence, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Bolashak International Scholarship.

The 25th anniversary of the program was marked by the Congress of World Universities, and the format of the Forum was held in the form of plenary and exhibition sessions. During the exhibition, visitors received a unique opportunity to meet in one place with a huge number of foreign universities and educational programs.

The exhibition was attended by leading foreign universities (The USA, The UK, countries of continental Europe, Asia and the CIS), language schools, educational agencies and representatives of international scholarship programs, as well as schoolchildren, students, parents and other people interested in studying, internships abroad.

On November 15 in Astana in the Palace of independence on the occasion of the International festival ” Fashion and Scenery ” there took place the competition among young designers within a framework of celebration of the 20 anniversary of Astana in the Astana Syrlara nomination.

The “Fashion and Scenery” festival the platform on which young designers can realize the dreams – translated into reality the thought-up images, to show them on a professional podium, to expose the skill on court of experts, media and the experienced viewer. During the ten years of fruitful work the festival gave start to more than 50 young designers of Kazakhstan.

On November 27-28, 2018, the VIII Civil Forum of Kazakhstan was held at the Palace of Independence in Astana. The event was organized by the Ministry of Social Development and the Public Association “Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan”. The forum was attended by 850 people at 35 sites.

On the second day of the event, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took part.

Within the framework of the forum, five panel sessions were held: “People (People)”, “Planet (Planet)”, “Prosperity (Prosperity)”, “Peace (Peace)”, “Partnership (Partnership)”, which affect the relevant target groups, are part of the UN sustainable development goals.

On December 8, 2018, the Umay Global Summit was held in the Palace of Independence, which was a part of the celebration of the WED Women’s Entrepreneurship Day in Kazakhstan. Business leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs met at the business forum. For about 1,200 people attended master classes, a trade fair, a forum and the first business award for women, UMAY AWARD 2018.

On February 16, the annual prize drawing of the construction holding BI Group was held at the Palace of Independence. Agonists for valuable gifts were customers who purchased property in one of the company’s sales departments in Almaty, Astana, Shymkent and Atyrau from December 1, 2018 to January 31, 2019.

The ceremonial part was held with the participation of Kazakhstan pop stars and dance groups. The popular singer Aikyn Tolepbergen and the winner of the fourth season of “Voice. Children” Danelia Tuleshova performed before the guests.

More than 100 prizes were raffled at the event: TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, microwave ovens, multicookers, electric kettles, laptops, tablets and much more. The grand prizes were foreign travel, a new KIA RIO foreign car and an apartment from the BI Group.

On February 27, 2019, the XVIII Congress of the Nur Otan Party, timed to the 20th anniversary of the political organization, took place in the Palace of Independence. The congress considered a new party program until 2030, changes and additions to the party’s charter, party reports, and a new party political council was elected. About two thousand people took part in the work of the congress.

On March 08-09, 2019, the International Mental Arithmetic Olympiad ISMA-2019 was held at the Palace of Independence. The annual ISMA International Olympiad is an intellectual platform for the strongest students and a fight for the Super Champion Cup.

More than 500 participants from 7 countries, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan were registered for the competition.

On March 10, There were held a seminar on the Formula for Healthy Nutrition by Amway at the Palace of Independence.

Nutritionist, MD, surgeon of the highest category, Vice-President of the Ukrainian Association of Nutritionists, Doctor of Anti-Age Medicine and Founder of the Academy of Longevity Oksana Skitalinskaya reported about the principles of healthy nutrition for the whole family.

On March 29 of 2019, an excursion organized by the State Committee for Social Services of the “Centre for Social Services” of the Nur-Sultan Akimat for old and single people took place at the Palace of Independence.During the excursion our guests visited Congress-hall, where important state events are held, gallery of modern art, Master Plan of Nur-Sultan city which caused sincere admiration of our guests.

Nour for cadets

On March 31, 2019, cadets of the National University of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after the First President – Elbasy visited the Palace of Independence in order to enhance the patriotic spirit and cultural and aesthetic education among young people.

The organized tour allowed guests to proudly present the Master Plan for the development of the city of Nur-Sultan. The soldiers paid special attention to the night panorama of the model, which highlighted the main and future objects of the architectural ensemble of the city. In the gallery of modern art of our palace, the guests got acquainted with the works of both eminent and young artists of Kazakhstan.
The excursion produced an impression on the guests.
