The conference involved participation of members of the Government, chairmen and deputies of the Houses of Parliament, chairman and members of the Constitutional Council, delegations of international organizations, as well as the heads of the constitutional control, courts, prosecutors office and human rights institutions from 28 countries, well-known foreign and local legalist-scholars, political scientists and experts.

President of Kazakhstan noted in his welcoming speech to the participants of the conference that on August 30, 1995 the only right way has been chosen at the referendum on the Constitution.

- If our approach to state-building involved hasty, politically abstract schemes, we would definitely have suffered a failure. And the price of that failure would have been catastrophic. In the experience of many newly independent countries, which is very sad sometimes, we know that the construction of the state is an extremely responsible, complicated, time-consuming and painful process. State-building cannot be done on the basis of a strict timetable and utopian plans. Sustainable stability cannot exist without economic progress and well-being of people. And without the stability, the country would have zero chances for successful changes, – said the Head of State.

Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed out that our country, following the Constitution, has overcome a long way in just two decades.

- Today, Kazakhstan is a respected and dignified nation in the world. It is the concrete implementation of all the provisions and principles of our Basic Law. The state and social system is effective only if it is able to change for the better. Our Basic Law has all the legal tools for the successful development and self-renewal of the nation. We have set a global target – to make Kazakhstan one of the 30 most developed countries of the world by mid-century on the basis of the developed strategic program until 2050, – said the President of Kazakhstan.

In addition, the Head of State wished successful and fruitful work to all participants.

During the event, the Vice-President of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, Ye.Tanchev, the Chairman of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union, A. Fedortsov, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia, Chairman of the Conference of Constitutional Control Organs of the New Democracies, G. Arutyunyan, also made their speeches.

The conference participants expressed their appreciation for Kazakhstan’s experience of constitutional evelopment, noted the special role of Nursultan Nazarbayev in Kazakhstan’s constitutional development.

Foreign guests noted Kazakhstan’s achievements in maintaining political stability, ensuring interethnic and interreligious harmony and stability and consistency of the process of democratization and liberalization. The organizers of the Anniversary Forum was the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, European Commission for Democracy through Law of the Council of Europe (the Venice Commission), Secretariat of Assembly of

Opening ceremony of the exhibition “The new generation” de3dicated to the 20^th Anniversary of Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been held in the exhibition hall of the Palace of Independence on October 6, 2015.

Thirty five works of the young and talented artists exposed in the exhibition. Painting is a highly artistic segment of this exhibition, which includes paintings of classical art genre, landscapes of Kazakh steppes, still-lifes and urban architecture.

The exhibition opened with the speech of B.K. Sanakulova, deputy director of the Palace of Independence, candidate of historical sciences; T.T. Yermekov, chairman of the Union of Artists of Astana; B.T. Baysagatov, professor, honored artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan; K.V. Mullashev, honored art worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan and B. Assemkul, prize winner of the Youth Award “Daryn”, member of the Union of Artists of Astana.

The poetry session dedicated to the XVII Language Festival of people of Kazakhstan, 20^th Anniversary of Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 20^th Anniversary of Assembly of people of Kazakhstan and 550^th Anniversary of Kazakh Khanate held in the gallery of the Palace of Independence on October 7, 2015.

The staff of the Palace of Independence took part in this event. The poems of famous Kazakh poets like M. Makatayev, M. Zhumabayev, M. Alimbayev,           K. Myrzaliyev have been read in Kazakh by the staff of the Palace of Independence. Also, they made a quiz on proverbs and sayings. In the end of the poetry session the song “Kozimnin karasy” of famous poet and philosopher A. Kunanbayev sang by the staff.

City plein-air “Autumn colors” dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, 550th Anniversary of Kazakh Khanate and 20th Anniversary of Constitution of Kazakhstan will take place on embankment of the City park of Culture and Rest of Astana on October 13, 2015.

The students of the National University of Art “Shabyt” will take part at this event.

The aim of plein-air was rendition of different states of nature, a wish to bring across the feeling of the glittering sunlight and vibrations of the color and air.

Participants depicted the landscape through the natural light which reflected colorful richness of the nature and all season changes of colors.

VI International Investment Forum “Astana Invest 2015” was held in the Palace of Independence on October 29, 2015. The businessmen from more than 20 countries attended this Forum. Foreign businessmen have shown interest in the major projects that will be implemented in the nearest future. There also discussed about the possibilities of cooperation in the international financial center “Astana”. Within the several days, the city authorities have shown the potential of the city as a full-fledged hub in infrastructure and innovation. Delegates of the business forum “Astana Invest” acquainted with the work of three companies of the industrial park of the capital.

In the Palace of Independence worked 70 exhibition centers such investment projects as “Smartcity”, “EXPO-2017” and “Made in Astana” pavilions.

Among the main speakers were – the First Deputy Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintaev, Minister of Investment and Development Asset Issekeshev and the heads of major holdings.

For the first time, one of the biggest international TV channels – CNN spoke about the work of the Astana Infest Forum.

The II International exhibition of the Eurasian Union of Designers, dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan was held in the exhibition hall of the Palace of Independence on November 3, 2015.

The designers of the Russian Federation Academy of Design named after S.G. Stroganov participated in the exhibition together with Yergali Dautov, assistant professor of design, one of the leading designers of Russia, Patricia Bober from the Republic of Poland, Gareth Stamp from the UK as well as designers from Almaty, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Zhezkazgan, Universities of Astana, Almaty and other cities of Kazakhstan.

The official part of the exhibition began with the fashion show of modern national costumes of young designers and rewarding of Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland, Great Britain and other designers.

To the attention of the guests will be presented creative works all styles of design:

- Design of the architectural space,

- Costume design,

- Graphic design and other styles.

The International Festival “Shabyt-2015” is the most significant event of the year which held in the exhibition hall of the Palace of Independence on November 4, 2015. The main events for the participants in the nomination “Fine arts: sculpture and decorative arts and crafts” held in the exhibition hall of the Palace of Independence from November 4 – 6.

In the XVIII International Festival “Shabyt-2015” took part 143 participants from Kazakhstan and Russia with more than 200 works, 32 participants in nomination of sculpture, and the other in nomination of decorative arts and crafts. The unexpected subjects, modern forms in sculpture space and design solutions in the decorative arts and crafts of talented participants were exposed in the exhibition hall.

These three days showed us the creative abilities of talented youth who will represent Fine Arts of Kazakhstan in foreign countries.

The main purpose of the forum is creation of the new future full of breakthrough ideas, technologies and industrial innovations.

The Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the National ICT Holding “Zerde”, JSC with participation of the International Business Accelerator Happy Farm within the framework of technology forum Techconnect Astana arranged the conference ASTEX-2015 on the subject: “Big data and open data for effective governance”.  

The purpose of the conference to arrange space for experts to discuss the results of their researches, prospects for their further development and practical application in the big data and open data space.

The first exhibition of graphics works drew with a coal was opened in the Palace of Independence of Astana on November 23, 2015. The original works presented by Bakhytzhan Bukharbayev, Kazakh artist, political expert, head of the project “Men Qazaqpyn”. The exhibition continues its work up to December 3, 2015.

The official part of the exhibition was opened with the speeches of B.A. Zhakenov, vice-president for production issues of “Shubarkol komir”, JSC and B. Bukharbayev, artist, political expert, and head of the project “Men Qazaqpyn”.

Bakhytzhan Bukharbayev explained the idea to draw with a coal simply: “Nowadays so many colors and noise in the world, that the reason is lost: but for what it all this shine?” I wanted to show that beauty may lie just beneath our feet. Coal – the object, from which many families start their day, but how could many think that it should be use creatively? Children have the gift to see in any tree fantastic character, but we adults have lost this ability, unfortunately.”

The “Shubarkol komir”, JSC supported artist’s bold idea as one of the variants of the creative display of everyday work of miners. The graphic works, archival and contemporary photos and materials about Shubarkol mine field exposed on the exhibition in the Palace of Independence.

Bukharbayev was born on March 27, 1987. He is a social activist, head of the project “Men Qazaqpyn”. His works dedicated to the historical and social subjects. The first personal exhibition “Omir Shenbery” of Bakhytzhan Bukharbayev dedicated to the Independence of Kazakhstan was held in the “White piano” art-gallery on December 16, 2014.

The exhibition was broadcast on the information portal: “El KZ”, “Dixinews”, “KazInform”; newspapers: “Novoe pokolenie”, “Express K”, “Kazakhstanskaya Pravda” and TV channels: “Kazakhstan”, “Mir”.

IV Eurasian Women Summit was held in the Palace of Independence on November 25 – 26, 2015. This year the Forum dedicated to the 20^th Anniversary of Kazakhstan Business Women’s Association. The summit attended by Secretary of State, head of the council for Women’s Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President Gulshara Abdykalikova and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dariga Nazarbayeva. Over 500 women had come to the meeting from all the regions of State.

Kazakhstan Business Women’s Association established 20 years ago and became the first women’s non-governmental organization that unified women with active civil stand.

As referred to organizers, last 20 years Association brought to life hundreds of social projects, has opened its branches in all regions of the country, supported thousands of families, helped to open a lot of new facilities of small and medium-sized businesses, without losing of its field of vision young people and disadvantage people.

The international seminar “Space days in Kazakhstan – 2015” took place on the 27th of November 2015 in Astana, dedicated to possible applications and first results of the Earth remote sensing space system of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ERS SS RK) and ground infrastructure of the high-accuracy satellite navigation system (GI HSNS).

The space forum was attended by the representatives of the Earth remote sensing data suppliers, its processing means, as well as developers and users of geo-information systems and ERS data.

The seminar organizers were Aerospace committee of the Ministry for investments and development of RK, JSC «National company «Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary».

According to the organizer’s information, more than 350 local and foreign specialists from France, Germany, USA, Israel, Great Britain, Switzerland, Spain, Norway, the Netherlands, Japan, Canada, Egypt, Republic of South Africa, Korea, China, Iran, Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia confirmed their participation in the seminar.

The welcome speeches was given by the senior-managers of the Ministry for investments and development of RK, Aerospace committee of MID RK, as well as representatives of the French company Airbus Defence and Space, German company IABG, British company SSTL, which are platinum and gold sponsors of the event.

The work of the international seminar divided into four sections, dedicated to the application of ERS and HSNS in different economy areas, defense and national security, master-classes was given by the world leaders of ERS data suppliers.

During the international seminar “Space days in Kazakhstan – 2015” participants had a good opportunity to visit exhibitions, provided by the Palace of Independence.

The Message devoted to the actions of our country in the global crisis. The Message was the 20th address to the nation this year.

The last Message to the nation of Kazakhstan our President announced in November 11, 2014. It was “Nurly Zhol – the path to the future”. The Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan became a response of Kazakhstan to global challenges. These primarily include the slump of the global economic, falling of the raw material resources, and as a result, inpayments shortfall into the revenues.

The Head of State visited the exhibition of industrial and innovative projects, and then teleconference has begun, where was planned to launch 18 projects of the Industrialization Map.

Nursultan Nazarbayev awarded the winners of the Grand Prix of the “Paryz” Awards and special prizes of the “Altyn Sapa” Awards. Also, the ceremony of the winners awarding of these competitions was held in the Palace of Independence. Total to the 10^th “Altyn Sapa” Awards applied 153 participants. Only thirty best finalists were able to pass in to the Final. Totally, 9 enterprises of Kazakhstan were winners of “Altyn Sapa”. Also for the first time was presented with a special award from the National Chamber of Businessowners “Іsker”. The owners of this award became 10 companies. Also, traditionally was held the presentation of prizes to the winners of the contest on social responsibility of business “Paryz”.

Exhibition “Art of the Great Steppes” of Raigul Akhmetzhanova, well-known artist, designer and member of the Union of Artists dedicated to the Day of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Independence Day was held in exposition hall of the Palace of Independence in December 15, 2015.

Twenty seven art works will expose in the exhibition. Works of the artist are made in style of platting from cheegrass. This is a traditional artistic technique of Kazakh national applied art, where cheegrass used as an artistic material, growing in the steppes a thin willow reed – cheegrass.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was opened with the speech of T.T. Yermekov, chairman of the Union of Artists of Astana city, G.Suranchiyeva, businessman and collectioners and R.Alisheva, veteran-teacher.

The Palace of Independence created in 2008 as an image-building venue of national and international level for official state events with participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the heads of governments of the world, forums, conferences, congresses international, political, economic and social organizations (OSCE, SCO, WISF and etc.). At the same time, the Palace of Independence has a wonderful exposition area that can be used simultaneously for a variety of projects profitably complementing the political events with the cultural. The image of our country and our capital – is one of the overriding priorities of the Palace of Independence.

Astana actively forms the status of a cultural center in the international community. During the years of hard work the Palace of Independence became the place of many cultural events. Among them – the important international projects, the expositions of works of the famous artists of Kazakhstan and other very interesting thematic exhibitions. A special place takes the ethnographic exhibition “Art of the ancestors – descendants’ heritage”. This exhibition is a symbolic event. All the exhibits items of exposition are original works of the famous artist-jeweler Berik Alibay, as well as a collection of antique items of decorative art from his personal collection. The exhibition widely presents jewelry, objects of armory art and horse equipment, dishware, kitchen vessels and various utensils. It is perfectly complement with the interior decoration of the Kazakh yurt, furniture, art weaving works, the Kazakh national dress. Great exhibition opportunities of art galleries of the Palace of Independence gives a wide range of international environment and all the countries participating in the Global Forum a great opportunity to feel the best aesthetic artifacts of the Kazakh traditional art. Such projects like exhibition of Japanese kimono of Itiku Kubota, “Napoleon. The life. The legend”, “People” and “Silk Road Economic belt – respect for different civilizations and management of joint development” were in their own original and very interesting in terms of contact with another history, another aesthetics and culture. The exhibition “People” get acquainted residents and visitors with the work of contemporary Korean art, which is little known in our country. The uniqueness of the traditional art of “land of high mountains and sparkling rivers” as poetically called Koreans their country, in the pursuance of harmony, in a contemplative attitude to nature. However, the Korean National Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul at this time showed us another art. Korean artist skillfully combines contemporary and traditional techniques, working with acrylics on canvas or paper, mixed techniques and modern style. The protagonists of the exhibition – the people: in joy or anxiety, very old and full of energy, parents and children, energetic women and dancing men. The official opening ceremony was attended by President of the Republic of Korea, Park Geun-hye, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Mukhamediuly and statesmen and public persons of the two countries.

The unique exhibition “The world through the eyes of the master kimono Itiku Kubota” literally shocked everyone! A person who likes art had a great opportunity to see a collection of Japanese kimonos created by Itiku Kubota (1918-2003). The famous Japanese master of painting and textiles for a long time penetrate with the secrets of the traditional hand-painting on silk. As a result, his virtuosity joined with a depth of Zen Buddhist philosophy and the audience could touch to her, contemplating the incomprehensible and beautiful kimono. All of them form the one landscape painting canvas of the seasons, moods and the secrets of the Universe. The most part of visitors come several times during that memorable week, which gave us the happiness to know this unique art. The exhibition was organized due to the International Fund of P. Shodiyev with the support of akimat of Astana and the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition “Napoleon. The life. The legend” was organized at the initiative of the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan and with the support of akimat of Astana in the framework of the Year of France in Kazakhstan. The aim of this project is to tell about the hectic creative, scientific and political life of the Emperor Napoleon. The special interior which was created for this large-scale exposition let us to read the biography of a legend, with the Napoleonic period, became a bright page in the world history. About 300 exhibits presented in this exhibition that recreate the spirit of the times the end of the XVIII – beginning of XIX centuries in France. They are manuscripts, policy documents, history painting, portrait sculptures, weapons and armor of the French army, luxury jewelry, furniture in the Empire style, personal things of the emperor and his family and etc. On the opening ceremony Akim of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan Francis Etienne noted that the exhibition is the culmination of the season in France in our country and precedes the Year of Kazakhstan in France. The curators of the exhibition are Director of “Napoleon” fund, Thierry Lentz and Head of the Heritage Department Pierre Branda also attended the opening ceremony and also noted that the exhibition presented to Kazakhstan people previously was organized in Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Austria and Australia.

The success of this exhibition, suggested the idea to work on the concept of a series of projects dedicated to the life and work of prominent political figures of the XX century.

Choosing the capital of Astana city as the venue for the International Exhibition “Astana EXPO-2017″ obliges the Palace of Independence to become one of the most interesting objects of the cultural program of the World Exhibition. A similar experience took place during the Winter Asian Games 2011. In the halls of the Palace of Independence worked “Cultural Asian Games” – an exhibition of cultural heritage of Kazakhstan from the period of Saks’ gold to contemporary art. Due to the preparations for the International Exhibition “Astana EXPO-2017″ in cooperation with the Korean company planned some correction works in the model hall “Astana-2030″ and interesting plans for using the capabilities of contemporary visual art and the latest digital technology.
The Palace of Independence since its establishment includes into the general plan as a major and important place for introduction tourists with Astana.

The photo exhibition “I love EKR!” was held in the gallery of the Palace of Independence in September and it was the final event of the program of development of ecological tourism, initiated by UNDP in the East Kazakhstan region. Mountains, forests, rivers, amazing grasses, fantastically beautiful sunsets of Eastern Kazakhstan for a long time and deservedly made its fame as the region of ecological tourism. Photo contest with the title “I love EKR!” among the users of the social network “Facebook” aroused great interest among the inhabitants of this area, who presented more than four hundred photographs. As well as competition and exhibition of the best photos have become a fine example of the Kazakhstan patriotism. That’s why, the Palace of Independence with a good sense of pride for the East Kazakhstan region provided one of its exhibition halls for a photo exhibition, so that residents and visitors of the capital have got acquainted with it.

The exhibition halls of the Palace of Independence are available to represent the process of contemporary art in Kazakhstan. At the end of October was organized the anniversary exhibition of international renown artist – Kamil Mullashev, honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, honored Professor of Han-Shan Pedagogical Institute and Shan-Tao University (China). Also, the halls of the Palace of Independence have become the venue for the annual International Festival of Creative Youth “Shabyt” in nomination “Fine Arts” and “Applied Arts”.

The big official events are complement by worthy exhibitions of the capital masters of fine arts, who are the members of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The aim of the Palace of Independence is rendering of assistance in the creation of high cultural brand of Astana in order for Kazakh people, tourists, representatives of the diplomatic corps in the capital could always have a chance to get acquainted with the works of high fine art and centuries-old traditions of culture of the Kazakh people.

Capital is the image, mentality after a while it is a shine and elegance everywhere, whether it is the capital resident or next built property. Astana grows every day, interchanging with architectural styles of Asia and Europe, incorporating the best. The Palace of Independence took its own place in the galaxy of stars of the capital. And it appeared as a necessity, in sync with its time. Kazakhstan was presented to the world community as a young and independent state, had the fate to be in the foreground. They are: the opening of the diplomatic embassies, missions and holding of international events.

And the idea of ​​the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev’s came true. Today we can see a beautiful, monumental building of the Palace of Independence – an architectural feature is load-bearing walls in the form of the Kazakh kerege – the framework of the yurt, it has become one of the most beautiful architectural buildings in Astana. We start to count since 15 December, 2008 the beginning of the work of the Palace of Independence that was the opening date of the Palace. At this moment, the total area of the building is over 40 thousand square meters.

The Palace presents a harmonious combination of beautiful and practical, past and present. Purpose of such a grandiose construction is also very high. The capital – Astana is the heart of Kazakhstan, where the state solved the fateful questions at different levels. In this regard, the daily visit to the capital by the guests and delegations from different parts of the world is the normal operating mode. The Palace of Independence has everything you need and became a venue for official state events, forums, meetings, congresses, conferences. The capacity, technical equipment and comfort allow organizing and showing all events at the highest international level. In addition to the official events, there are having all opportunities for concerts, exhibitions and celebrations.

The interior represents an amazing combination of strict decisions with aesthetics for comfort. In this regard, the first floor of the building was built to organize large-scale events and meetings.

Congress – hall with impressive dimensions 70×70 meters, with capacity more than 3000 people, built without columns or special supports, using the modular ceilings. A distinctive feature of the hall is the possibility of dividing it by transforming panels into several parts, each of which can operate in a standalone mode, that is, if necessary, reliable sound insulation makes it possible to simultaneously carry out several events.

Press – center with capacity for 200 seats, offers an international communication, language technology, sound-amplifying equipment, cathedral desk. It is meant for journalists for on-line transmission of information play-by-play, for press conferences, debates, private meetings and etc.

Conference – hall with capacity for 273 seats and sound-amplifying equipment is intended for especially solemn events.

Restaurant is meant for the courts and banquets, entertainment programs designed with capacity for 400 people, divided with marble columns into three parts. The high ceiling of the hall gives to designers unlimited possibilities for festive decoration and installation of rigid structural decorations. Comfort gives to restaurant a cascade of fountains in the palace square with view through the large windows showcase.

The second floor introduces our visitors and brings them into the world of beauty.

The exhibition pavilions of the Palace presents a variety of women’s jewelry, costumes from different regions of the Kazakh steppes, weapons and armor of warriors, keeping the wisdom of centuries of musical instruments, hand-made carpets. Perception of the spirit of that time reinforced by colorful paintings of Kazakh life, compositions of figures, recreating the hunting, spinning and touching scene of farewell ceremony of bride.

Gallery of the Palace is the largest in Astana. The exposed works of art will find their preferences, even the most capricious lover. Made in different styles and views on art – abstraction, landscape, scenery, portraits – contains the raw of exhibited works of famous Kazakh artists such as Mullashev, Akanayev, Smagulova, Begalin are make to think and sculptures made of ceramics, bronze and wood.

The third floor continues and completes the chronological chain of materials and exhibits of our days, talking about the history of Astana.

Exhibition hall of history of Astana city represents the story of the formation of the young capital of Kazakhstan. During the years of independence, passing through a number of events, visits, celebrations, holidays and everyday life, the important public documents, was wrote the history of new times – the modern history. In the hall of the history of Astana city exposed the documents regarding the moving of the capital from Almaty to Astana, sporting achievements, achievements in the field of culture, a number of gifts to the Astana Days from numerous international and friendly countries as a sign of recognition and respect.

Here, on the third floor situated a Model hall “Astana 2030”, made in the scale of 1:600. Visually seen projects of Kisho Kurokawa and Norman Foster caused genuine interest of visitors.

4D Cinema and 360 degrees Cinema presents to visitors a film about Astana, about the history of the capital.

The Palace of Independence conforms to the international standards: extended infrastructure, high leveled technical equipment, and quality management.

The Palace is a number one iconic object in the political, economic and cultural life not only in the capital but also the whole country.

In the Palace of Independence were held such events as: OSCE Astana summit, WIFS meeting, Anniversary OJC summit, the OIC summit, Summit of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the meeting of the Asian Development Bank and other significant events in the political life of the state.

For the first time in 2014, Kazakhstan chaired by ADB. The Palace was not only the venue for this event, but also its co-organizer. During the 3 days of the meeting work of the Asian Development Bank, the Palace was attended by over 28,000 participants from all over the world. The Palace is one of the favorite places for visitors and residents of the capital.

Much attention in the work of Palace of Independence is paid to culture, namely the introduction of visitors with the world trends in contemporary and traditional art. This is the place where have been organized such projects as “Napoleon. The Life. The legend” from France, “The world through the eyes of Japanese master of kimono Itiko Kubota” from Japan,”PEOPLE” from South Korea and many others.

Every day the work of the Palace is rich of events, because each day we are at the center of attention. Each event, exhibition, that held in the Palace, each exhibit – is a unique instrument for promoting the image of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its capital – Astana!

The opening ceremony of the exhibition “Art raises …” dedicated to the 25^th Anniversary of the Independence day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Language Day was held in the exhibition hall of the Palace of Independence on 5 February 2016.

About 200 works of fine art and applied art presented on the exhibition that were made by the students, disabled children and orphans of different ages, as well as the works of teachers.

The exhibition was opened with a speech of T.B.Zhaubasova, acting deputy director of the art exhibition organization department, Head of the department for the organization of exhibitions, S.S.Tulekova, director of school-lyceum №76 and E.Dosmagambetov, director of the Center of Fine Arts of the Palace of schoolchildren. During the exhibition opening there was organized a concert program with the participation of students of the Palace of Schoolchildren and master-class on working with clay of Y.Yessimov, teacher of arts.

A variety of bright colors in creative work reflected the various subjects such as “Journey to the Past of Kazakhstan”, “The Nature of Kazakhstan”, “Legends and Tales of Peoples of Kazakhstan”, “Customs and traditions of Kazakh people”, “Astana – city of the future”, “Kazakhstan through 20 years”, “Landscape of the village” that inspired the young artists to create them.

One of the unique aspects of the exhibition ̶ opportunity to look at the abundance of creativity through what is common to each artist, regardless of age and level of technical knowledge – through inspiration. This exhibition is a small searching of what motivates people to take up the brush.

The exhibition introduced visitors of the exhibition with the work of students and teachers of the Fine Arts International center of the “Palace of schoolchildren”.
